The highly anticipated match between WBC champion Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou, former UFC heavyweight champion, is set to take place tonight, October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It has been disclosed that the British boxer will earn a staggering amount for this fight.

Fury, also known as ‘The Gypsy King’, enters the fight with two TKO wins in the last 18 months. He secured victories in April last year against Dillian Whyte with a sixth-round technical knockout and in December 2022 against Derek Chisora in the 10th round.

It was announced in late September that a deal is in place for a bout between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk following the Ngannou match.

Meanwhile, ‘The Predator’ won the UFC heavyweight championship in March 2021 by defeating Stipe Miocic at UFC 260 with a second-round KO. He defended his belt against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 in January of the following year before eventually leaving the UFC to join the Professional Fighters League, enabling him to pursue boxing as well.

According to multiple UK reports, Tyson Fury has secured a deal with Saudi officials that will see him earning £165 million for his fight with Ngannou and two matches with Oleksandr Usyk.

The Gypsy King will receive £65 million for his bout with Ngannou and a further £50 million for each of his two fights with Usyk, the first of which could take place on December 23.

Tyson Fury’s WBC heavyweight world title will not be on the line when he faces Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia tonight.
