Transfer News: Man City Star Aymeric Laporte Set to Join Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr

In a major transfer development, Aymeric Laporte is on the verge of signing a three-year deal with Al-Nassr. The Saudi Pro League club has agreed to pay Manchester City a fee of £25m for the 29-year-old defender, as reported by The Guardian.
Laporte has accepted a lucrative salary of £20m to join forces with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr.
After joining City in 2018, Laporte has experienced a decrease in playing time, especially after the arrival of Manuel Akanji from Borussia Dortmund under the management of Pep Guardiola.
During the previous season, Laporte featured in only 12 Premier League fixtures.
This season, Laporte’s position at Manchester City was further weakened following the signing of Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig.
