In May 2013, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and a minor in Applied Mathematics. According to her, she wanted a career involving math, weather and public speaking.
Career
After graduation, she pursued her dream of continuing her professional career as a weekend weather forecaster and reporter for FOX 21 KQDS-DT in Duluth, Minnesota until July 2014. She then pitched her tent at WREX- TV, where she served as morning and noon weatherman and morning news anchor. There, she delivered three years of intense weather reporting and captured many hearts with her charm and charisma.
In May 2017, she joined the WeatherCenter WGN team as a meteorologist. The following month, Morgan Kolkmeyer joined Demetrius Ivory of Chicago’s WGN Morning News, where he anchored weekday weather. on WGN Evening News.
