BIOGRAPHY
Passionate about cinema, Kevin Mischel dreams of becoming a boxer by watching the Rocky saga , the franchise immortalized by Sylvester Stallone. At 15, he accompanied his twin sister to theater lessons given in an association in his neighborhood, in Chilly-Mazarin, in the Paris suburbs. This is the revelation. While learning dance on his own in the street, the teenager signed up for drama workshops and discovered theater. Without any contact in the industry, he was forced, a few years later, to distance himself from the scene and take on odd jobs to make a living.
In 2009, an audition for Zoopsie Comedi , a show by Dominique Boivin, got him back on track by mixing acting and dancing. Very quickly, opportunities presented themselves that allowed him to collaborate with choreographers Hiroaki Umeda, Kader Attou and Misook Seo. A hard worker, the young man hones his acting, follows Actors studio courses and is passionate about the Stanislawski method. The budding actor devours the films of Marlon Brando, James Dean and Robert De Niro, from which he never ceases to feed.
The year 2015 marks a turning point in his life. Spotted during a wild casting call, Kevin Mischel is selected to play the main male role of Divines : that of the bad boy dancer, Djigui. Then begins a long and intense preparation with director Houda Benyamina . His performance is paying off. Awarded the Caméra d’Or at the 69th Cannes Film Festival, the film propelled him into the spotlight overnight. The success was such that Divines won the César for Best Film and was exported abroad, offering its actors great exposure. Model in his spare time, notably for a Louis Vuitton
campaign alongside Catherine Deneuve , Kevin Mischel is more determined than ever to pursue his career in comedy. The artist, who flourishes on the stage, was recruited in 2017 by Marc Fouchard to play in Break . He plays a former breakdance dancer , freshly released from prison, brought to coach Sabrina Ouazani . Accomplice of Sami Bouajila in September 2021 in the Netflix series Braqueurs , Kevin Mischel is once again directed by Marc Fouchard in the thriller Hors du monde . His character, the tortured Léo, is a taxi driver behind whom hides a terrible predator… Pascal Muscarnera
