Jon Richardson: Bio
Jon Richardson was born on September 26, 1982 in Lancaster, Lancashire. He attended Ryelands Primary School and later went to Lancaster Royal Grammar School. He then moved on to the University of Bristol where he studied Hispanic for 18 months. For a time, he worked as a chef before delving into his acting career. At this time he was in the company of fellow comedians such as Russell Howard, John Robins and Mark Oliver, as they all lived together in Bristol.
On a personal level, Richardson enjoys watching football as he is a fan of English side Leeds United. He is really close to his family and friends and is described as compassionate.
Career
In May 2003, Richardson tried out and won the BBC New Talent Comedy Search. However, he didn’t win the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year but he came close enough by reaching the semi-finals. The English comedian later became part of a 60-date UK and Ireland tour in the company of fellow comedian, Alan Graham Carr.
Jon Richardson, in 2007, had his first solo exhibition at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe titled Spatula Pad. The following year, Dogmatic, his second solo exhibition, was also performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Away from comedy, Richardson is also a writer, having successfully penned content for his shows. In 2009, he published a book titled Ce n’est pas moi, c’est toi.
Richardson was also the co-host of a Sunday morning program with his friend, Russell Howard. He did this regularly until March 2010.
He has received nominations and awards for his outstanding performances, particularly at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which includes a Best Newcomer nomination and the Chortle Award for Best Breakthrough Act in 2008.
After studying himself and others, the comedian presented a documentary about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The documentary titled A Little Bit OCD won him an award in 2013.

Lucy Beaumont was born in 1983 and grew up in the Spring Bank area of Hull, England. Lucy, who lived with her mother – Gill Adams, started with a brief acting career. She, however, switched to acting in an attempt to cure her fear of the stage.
Therefore, in 2011, she entered a comedy contest So You Think You’re Funny and came out as one of the finalists. Following this, Beaumont worked more on herself and in 2014 she hosted her own show at the Festival’s Edinburgh Fringe titled We Can Twerk It Out.
After that she went on to have a radio show Hulled and Aft on BBC Radio 2. Usually her comedy focuses on life in her home town (Kingston upon Hull), shedding light on dialects, to the food and standards of that society. His act is described as observational. She won an award for her performance at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015. The acting couple live in South West London with their child.
Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont have an only child. Their daughter named Elsie was born in September 2016. At the time of the baby’s birth, Jon was on a national tour with his new show Old Man.
