American sports director John Buccigross has established himself as one of the renowned sports mainstays of the US-based cable and satellite sports television channel, ESPN.

Born on January 27, 1966 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, John loved sports commentary from a young age. When he moved with his parents to Steubenville, Ohio at the age of 11, he had the chance to venture there by first earning a degree in the field.. John first graduated from Central Catholic High School in Steubenville before joining Heidelberg College where he majored in communications and the performing arts. Since then, the ethnic American citizen has been active in broadcast journalism, winning numerous accolades for his skills as a sportsman.

ESPN Career

John joined ESPN in 1996 and has served the satellite cable network for more than two decades. He got his first professional job as co-host of NHL 2Night shortly after graduating from Heidelberg College. His professional skills on the show earned him an Emmy Award nomination. Among his best TV shows tonight was baseball and the sports center.

The handsome sportsman got married to his beautiful Italian wife Melissa Buccigross in 1991 after long years of relationship. The couple exchanged vows in an Italian wedding style and have been living together as husband and wife ever since. They also have three children – two boys, Brett Buccigross and Jack Buccigross, and a girl named Malorie Buccigross. The couple now reside in South Windsor, Connecticut.

Meanwhile, the ESPN anchor was recently embroiled in a widely publicized sex scandal involving former ESPN analyst Adrienne Lawrence, who filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him, claiming he had invited her to her home and attempted to woo her on behalf of the mentor. She also claimed that she contacted the cable channel’s human resources department about it, but instead of resolving it, they tried to protect Buccigross’ reputation by covering up her bullying intentions.

Adrienne texted a message John had sent her, where he allegedly said “I’m a white boy and I’m knackered” as evidence against him. The complaint also stated that John, alongside other men from ESPN, greeted their female colleagues without any intervention from the company. Although John has yet to release a statement on the matter, ESPN’s spokesperson has denied all allegations.

Despite all the controversies, John Buccigross is still married to his Italian wife, he was never married to another woman; he has therefore never divorced and he is not homosexual. Most interestingly, all of his three children are athletic – his eldest son, Brett Buccigross, loves golf and plays like his father, while his other two children, Jack and Malorie, are interested in football and horse riding respectively. .
