Championship: Ndidi fit to face Watford — Leicester boss, Maresca
Leicester City’s manager, Enzo Maresca, has confirmed that Wilfred Ndidi will be able to play in the club’s upcoming Sky Bet Championship match against Watford. The Foxes are set to host Watford at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Ndidi had missed Leicester City’s last three games due to a muscle injury, which also led to his absence from Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
During his media interaction on Friday, Maresca disclosed that all his players, with the exception of Callum Doyle, will be available for the clash with Watford. He stated, “They (including Ndidi) are all working with us [apart from] Callum. The rest are all available for tomorrow.”
The 26-year-old Ndidi has made 12 league appearances for Leicester City this season, scoring one goal.
