BIOGRAPHY
Alicia von Rittberg attended a humanities-oriented Gymnasium and began her film career as a student beginning in 2000. In addition to acting, she studied corporate administration and economics at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen, where she was due to complete her bachelor’s thesis in June 2017. For her starring role as a foster child in the 2012 ZDF television film And all were silent , she received the Young Artist Award 2013 at the Bavarian Television Award. In 2014, she played the role of Emma alongside Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman and Shia LaBeouf in the American war film Hearts of Iron , directed by David Ayer. She starred as Ida Lenze in season 1 of the German television series Charité for which she received the Bambi Award in the German actress category in 2017. She will soon be seen playing the iconic Queen Elizabeth I in the drama series Becoming Elizabeth (2022).
